Kari-Ann Hubbard, Dipl. O.M. L.Ac. is a nationally board certified acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in women’s health, perinatal and postpartum care, IBS, and chronic migraines. She graduated with her Masters in 2010 from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, Az and has since pursued post-graduate education in antennal and postpartum care, infertility, palliative cancer care and women’s health and herbology. She is involved with the Maternity Acupuncture Mentorship and Peer Support Group which is led by a prestigious group of specialists in Chinese Medicine in antennal and postpartum care as well as a board member for a non-profit organization Willow Wish that grants scholarships to families in Arizona that would like to choose a birth center birth. Kari-Ann Hubbard was raised in Miami, Florida and is one of five children. She grew up loving ocean life, dancing and incessant reading and spending time with her large family. One of her nicknames was “Granny” always helping, nurturing and caring for others. Her journey to mind-body medicine and healing started at the young age of eleven when she was diagnosed with IBS.
